POST Reaches a Tentative Agreement
YOUR BARGAINING TEAM has reached a Tentative Agreement (T/A) with McLaren Greater Lansing (MGL) on a New Four (4) Year Deal!
This agreement includes good raises and a signing bonus, while maintaining all current provisions that you currently enjoy. We took NO CONCESSIONS on any part of Your Contract.
Local 459 has mailed a copy of a personalized letter to your home. This letter will show you exactly how the economic gains will affect you.
A Membership Meeting will be held to discuss the agreement on Tuesday January 3, 2023, from 3:30 – 4:30 pm in room L-313. A Zoom Membership Meeting will be held from 7:30 – 8:30 pm the same day. The Zoom link will be e-mailed to your personal e-mail address. If you do not have a home e-mail on file with us, please send it to us ASAP. You can e-mail it to Local459@Local459.org.
Union members will VOTE on whether to accept this agreement on Monday January 9, 2023, in the Karmanos Community Conference room. You can vote anytime between 6:00 am and 7:30 pm. You must be a member in good standing and present to vote. Ballots will be counted at 7:30 pm. The Union team is unanimously recommending a YES! vote.
